Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: India@75 Freedom Ride by Thumpers Café held

  Chandigarh : To celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Thumpers Café - a well-known Bike Riders' Group of Tricity, organized an impressive India@75 Freedom Ride. Fervour and enthusiasm marked the event, which started at Sector 34 playground and concluded at Ropar Haveli. “It was a rare honor to flag off India@75 Freedom Ride. We have completed 75 years as an independent nation. It is a rare milestone,” said Manat Noor, a famous singer, who flagged off the Ride along with Brigadier Satinder Singh, Vineet Joshi, and Vishal Batra, brother of Kargil martyr Capt. Vikram Batra, PVC (Posthumous). Vishal Batra also took part in the India@75 Freedom Ride which saw the participation of over 400 bikers.  “The idea was to celebrate a historic moment in a memorable way by infusing a sense of patriotism among our youth, who are the backbone of the nation.
