Abhiraj Shee: East Midnapur child gets appreciation for brilliant memory

Abhiraj Shee of East Midnapore, West Bengal, has got appreciation certificate from the India Book of Records (IBR) for answering 100 questions related to national symbols (18), General Knowledge (31), memorials (4), inventions (4), sports (5), animal-based (10), mathematics (8), opposite words (3), computer-based (4) and planet-based (13) questions in 4 minutes and 30 seconds, at the age of 6 years and 8 months, as confirmed on January 15, 2021.

Abhiraj (born on May 6, 2014) is always proactive to participate in all sorts of competitions like quiz contest, drawing, storytelling, art and craft, singing, coloring, fancy dress, unique talent and so on. He is always interested in learning new things, memorizing everything quickly.

His parents say that, “We were trying to see how fast Abhiraj can answer the questions from different subject areas like Mathematics, Computers, Science, General Knowledge etc and he succeeded with flying colors. When he correctly answered all the 100 questions in a short time span of 4 minutes and 30 seconds only, we thought why not submit the feat to India Book of Records.”

It might be hard to believe, but Abhiraj did it in his second attempt. In the first attempt he completed the answers in 4 minutes 57 seconds, while in the second attempt he correctly answered 100 questions in shorter time (4 minutes and 30 seconds) only.

“Abhiraj loves to answer the G.K questions during his playing time, like when he plays football, swings or runs with us,” tells his mother, adding, “He learnt and memorized all national symbols, planets, continents, oceans, inventors etc in a very short time during his play time”.

Abhiraj learnt all the the facts smoothly in his own way. His parents wanted to play with him that how fast he could answer the questions from different areas and he made this history. “We were very excited when we came to know that Abhiraj's entry has been recognized by India Book of Records. All the family members and relatives are feeling proud of Abhiraj for his brilliance.”

Abhiraj is very happy knowing about this and seeing that everyone close to him is enjoying his performance. His mother has a message for other parents: “We should always encourage kids as per their interest. They can do their best naturally.”
