Three years old boy performs best forward flips

Chennai: The record for being the youngest to perform forward flips was set by S Mohnish (born on September 19, 2017) of Puducherry. The young boy has joined the league of record makers of India Book of Records (IBR).

The boy performed 13 front flips in a minute, at the tender age of three years, two months and 20 days, as confirmed on December 9, 2020 by the India Book of Records team.

S Mohnish (born on September 19, 2017) from Puducherry, started doing this from of forward flips at the tender age of two years only on his own interest with his father’s support.

When asked about his practice schedule, Mohnish’s father said, “When we say "action", he starts doing forward flips without any delay or without any second thought. He is always willing to perform this form of exercise at the drop of a hat.”

However, it was not as simple in the beginning as it seems. His father recalls that in the beginning, after keeping timer he started to look at it for sometime. Then collecting his energy and setting his composure he started the exercise.

The family members and his friends all were extremely happy when the news of making this record reached us. All of the people connected with his family were very exited about the achievement. His father says, “We were happy and felt very proud. It was an unforgettable moment indeed.”
