Home Minister Anil Vij visits HIIMS Hospital; assures all help to promote Ayurveda



Chandigarh Haryana’s Home Minister, Anil Vij visited an integrated multispecialty hospital - Hospital & Institute of Integrated Medical Sciences (HIIMS), at Dera Bassi near Chandigarh.

Anil Vij who has been receiving home treatment from HIIMS founder - renowned Ayurveda and Meditation Guru Acharya Manish, decided to pay a visit to the hospital after experiencing remarkable physical benefits from the treatment. Notably, 69-years-old, Anil Vij was inflicted with COVID-19 earlier and also had been on oxygen support.

During his visit, Anil Vij was taken by Acharya Manish on a tour of different departments of the hospital such as IPD, OPD, and the Panchkarma center. Vij also interacted with the doctors and staff members. He also spent time with kidney and cancer patients at the hospital who have been experiencing a remarkable recovery through Ayurvedic treatment.

While touring him around, Acharya Manish briefed Vij on how the hospital is treating the patients with different Naturopathy interventions, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, and also Allopathy when needed. He further told him that the hospital is well known for its kidney disease treatment system - GRAD Gravitational Resistance and Diet (GRAD) in North India. So far hundreds of patients suffering from kidney ailments have successfully reversed their diseases without a transplant, Vij was informed.

Anil Vij was surprised to learn that HIIMS using a mix of different old and modern treatment techniques under one roof, is doing exceptionally well in the health sector and for humankind. Lauding Acharya Manish and his team for their efforts, Vij said that he would empanel the hospital with the Haryana government so that all Haryana Government employees would get health benefits from the unique treatment protocols available at HIIMS, Dera Bassi.

Acharya Manish expressed his gratitude and handed over packaged millets and millets aata (flour) to Anil Vij and wished him good health. Dr Suyash Pratap Singh and Dr Anu Bhardwaj were also present at the occasion.

It is imperative to mention that Dr Amar Singh Azad, Dr Awadhesh Pandey, Dr Khadar Valli, and Dr Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury are also associated with HIIMS.
