DreamCity NXT Amritsar celebrates Diwali with a bang



Amritsar: A big Diwali celebration was held at Dreamcity NXT Club on GT road near DPS school, Amritsar. DreamCity NXT Amritsar, an iconic housing city of AIPL in the holy city, made the celebration of the Festival of Lights quite special for people of Amritsar. Full of fun, frolic, music and sumptuous food, people had a  great time.

The festival offered sumptuous dishes from food stalls, shopping, and dancing to the tune of live bands. There were lucky draws every hour and many more attractions. Children had a great time not only grabbed their cherished food from the stalls but also boosted their creativity through drawing, painting, and dance activities.

“We at DreamCity believe in celebrating the moment of festivity and joy in a wholesome manner where people of all age groups have something to take away emotionally. The ‘Festival of Lights’ has a special significance in our lives, which we have tried to make memorable for people of Amritsar,” said Dalbir Singh Bedi, Assistant Vice President, Sales and Leasing, AIPL.

Starting from 3 pm, the Festival of Lights celebration continued till 10 pm. “Participants in the lucky draw won loads of prizes,” informed Bedi.

“Diwali is one of the major festivals of our country, which signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. Court orders attachment of PSPCL XEN’s salary for denial of connection to MM Builders

Mohali (SAS Nagar):  In what deals a severe blow to the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to improve the ease of doing business and anti-corruption drive in the state, Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) is not releasing electricity connection to a commercial entity notwithstanding the directions of the court. The permanent Lok Adalat of SAS Nagar on May 20, 2022, had directed the PSPCL to release the electricity connection to M/s MM Builders, which runs Sky Jumper in  Oxford Street , Zirakpur owned by S M Hotel. The court also ordered the attachment of salary of HS Oberai, XEN, Zirakpur Division, and PSPCL. The court has termed the action of PSPCL as contempt of the orders of the Permanent Lok Adalat. The court order reads - “Despite the orders of this court, the PSPCL is avoiding releasing the connection on flimsy grounds.
